NEWS FLASH
Corendon Dutch Airlines will commence a new seasonal service between Maastricht, in the southeast of the Netherlands, to Ohrid this summer. The carrier, which already maintains seasonal operations from Amsterdam to the lake-side city, will introduce the flights on July 6. The service is aimed at Dutch holidaymakers and tickets will be sold as part of tour packages. Several carriers will launch new flights to Ohrid this summer including Brussels Airlines, Nordica and TUIfly.
OHD has tremendous potential especially in the summer.
ReplyDeleteThis airport could easy reach 300 000 pax. per year.
If the local governments in Ohrid and Struga spend some pocket money on smart targeted marketing on FB just in 30km radius around London, I would expect that the WIZZ air will be flying 3 even 4 flights per week just from LTN this summer. The same smart marketing could be applied on the Benelux market as well.
