AMROS Group, a global leader in airworthiness management and fleet technical services, has built a strong reputation for providing comprehensive solutions across the aircraft life cycle, including CAMO services, fleet transitions, and technical consulting.

Speaking to EX-YU Aviation News, AMROS Group CEO, Giuseppe Renga, shared insights into AMROS’s innovative approaches, including the company’s proprietary LISA Aircraft Records Management software and the role of AMROS Business Services, established in 2023 to enhance operations in Serbia.

AMROS Group has built a strong reputation in the aviation sector. Could you provide a brief overview of AMROS Group, and explain the role AMROS Business Services plays within the organisation?

AMROS started in 2009 as Airline MRO Solutions and was officially incorporated under the name AMROS Global as a CAMO+, with a focus on continuing airworthiness management, aviation management consulting and technical services. Since 2020, the company has expanded to Fleet Technical Management, providing turn-key solutions that cover the entire aircraft life-cycle, including aircraft redeliveries and transitions, AMOS consulting, component solutions, digital technical asset management, and ferry flight support.

With AMROS Business Services incorporated in 2023, in the heart of Serbia, Belgrade, AMROS extends its airworthiness management offerings. We proudly serve our customers, including local ones, such as Air Serbia, with cost-effective EASA CAMO solutions while maintaining exceptional quality.

Over the years, together with all companies under the AMROS Group’s umbrella, we have built a strong track record with more than 700 managed aircraft transitions and over 100 aircraft under CAMO management.

How does AMROS approach innovation, and what role does it play in shaping your service offerings today?

At AMROS, innovation and digitalization are integral to who we are. Starting with a digital administration environment based on automation, up to our own proprietary aircraft records management software LISA Aircraft Records Management. Since 2023, AMROS performs all aircraft transition projects with LISA, significantly increasing records review efficiency substantially.

What does 'Expect more' mean to AMROS and how is that philosophy reflected in your services?

The 'Expect more' philosophy ensures that client-specific needs are always at the forefront. Instead of a one-size-fits-all approach, we deliver tailored, high-quality services to meet unique challenges, managing every facet of aircraft technical operations. Ultimately, for AMROS, quality is never static – it's something we consistently seek to improve. 'Expect more' reflects a culture of continuous enhancement, where processes are refined, and new technologies are integrated to deliver cutting-edge solutions that our clients can rely on long-term.

Guiseppe Renga

Fleet transitions are a major concern for lessors - how does your 360° solution help mitigate risks during aircraft transitions?

It helps to significantly reduce the number of stakeholders involved in aircraft technical management and transition processes. In a market condition where time kills deals and may immediately result in cash outs, AMROS prides itself in connecting the dots of aircraft technical needs, minimizing turnaround time and addressing risks affected with managing multiple stakeholders — with established value chains, efficient communication, and solution-oriented services.

In an increasingly competitive market, what long-term value do you provide through your fleet technical management services?

We deliver significant time savings and reduced lead times, allowing our clients to keep their operations running smoothly and efficiently. By focusing on cost reduction, we not only enhance profitability but also elevate overall operational efficiency for airlines and lessors. It’s all about making a real difference in our customers' operations, empowering them to optimize their fleet management.

What are some of the key benefits of partnering with AMROS for CAMO services, especially for operators of diverse aircraft types?

As a CAMO with approval by EASA and other jurisdictions, our customers enjoy the vast expertise of managing a portfolio of diverse aircraft types, including Airbus, Boeing, Embraer and Bombardier. Each aircraft is unique and therefore requires a unique treatment that fits each situation the best. With our 15 years of experience, solution finding is fast and goal oriented.

How does AMROS leverage its expertise and technology to maintain compliance with EASA regulations in airworthiness management?

Our teams of airworthiness engineers and technical managers are frequently educated with the latest changes in the industry and its implication of our current and future managed fleet. Thanks to the market leading software AMOS, it is easy to implement and identify technical requirements of aircraft, hence guaranteeing airworthiness at all times. Alongside our proprietary aircraft records management tool LISA, which automates the tedious manual tasks of managing aircraft records, we elevate safety, transparency, and cost efficiency in airworthiness management.

LISA is often highlighted as a key differentiator for AMROS - can you explain what makes LISA unique and how it transforms aircraft records management?

We are the first independent CAMO worldwide that integrates their proprietary aircraft records management software with a Maintenance & Engineering software, streamlining the airworthiness management process. LISA finally provides the tools at hand and is supported by Artificial Intelligence to automate the labour-intensive task of actively managing aircraft records – not only during aircraft transition, but already from the point of entry into service and throughout the aircraft’s operational life.

What role does Artificial Intelligence play in LISA, and how does it enhance the accuracy and efficiency of records management?

Our LISA AI helps to identify document types up to page level and automatically sort aircraft records into industry standards, namely IATA delivery binder. Continuously evolving, the AI enhances our automation capabilities by streamlining information collection and supporting decision making, ultimately saving time and reducing costs for our clients.
