NEWS FLASH
Airlines and airports across the former Yugoslavia will be taking part at the upcoming 21st CONNECT Route Development Forum in Girona in Spain between February 3 and 5. Over 800 aviation industry leaders will attend the event and engage in conversations with airports and travel stakeholders to negotiate the launch of new routes or the expansion of existing services. Attendance at the event among aviation stakeholders from the former Yugoslavia has so far been confirmed by Air Serbia, Croatia Airlines, ETF Airways, Belgrade Airport, Dubrovnik Airport, Osijek Airport, Zadar Airport, Airports of Serbia and Airports of Republika Srpska.

DeleteFraport had ABSOLUTELY nothing to do with KLM flights. The only flights Fraport had to do with were the Iberia ones, and the CEO couldnt stop talking about it...

ReplyDeleteGood! Lets see what they will reap! But BEG and SKP must reduce airport fees first. For LCC, especially FR this is a key. Remember when ZAG wanted to reinstate T1 for Ryanair, so it is cheaper? I bet it was brought by Ryanair and I believe ZAG gave them some discounts. And this is not a bad thing. Vienna was also very expensive airport, now is served as a base from both Wizz and FR. Sofia airport also is insanely cheap compared to BEG and SKP, even Athens. Bucharest is also very reasonably priced airport. In 2016 when Ryanair opened a base at Sofia, David O’Brian(managing director at Ryanair) warned Bg government not to give the concession of the airport to the one who gives more money, but to the one who proposes traffic increase!
