NEWS FLASH
The Serbian Civil Aviation Directorate has said the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding in Air Transport between Serbia and Turkey in Istanbul last week will result in the introduction of new flights from Niš and Kraljevo to Turkey. The head of the regulator, Mirjana Čizmarov, met with the Ambassador of Turkey to Serbia, Ilhan Saygili, where the two discussed the implementation of the agreement. “The results of the recent bilateral negotiations in Istanbul were presented to the Ambassador, where new goals were agreed upon, including linking Niš and Kraljevo with new points in Turkey, as well as further strengthening cooperation in civil aviation between the two countries”, the Directorate said. Both Niš and Kraljevo currently boast two weekly flights to Istanbul’s main airport operated by Air Serbia under a Public Service Obligation contract with the Serbian government.
Okay, AJet will likely fly to Nis from either Sabiha Gökcen or Izmir, but who can fly to KVO?
ReplyDeleteProbs Air Serbia to Antalya on charter basis
DeleteAir Serbia already flies charters from Nis to Antalya. Charters from KVO are not possible.
DeleteFor sure the new flights won't be operated by JU.
ReplyDeleteWho else can fly to Kraljevo, with the appropriate equipment?
DeleteMaybe tourist charters, operated by JU?
DeleteJU already operates tourist charters from Nis to Turkey. This is regarding scheduled flights.
DeleteCharters cannot be operated with the ATR, folks.
DeleteCould the wet leased Bulgarian E190 do the KVO without restriction?
DeleteWhy charters cannot be operated by the ATR? I understand it's not common, it might be expensive etc, but that's something different from "cannot".
DeleteVery good development. These flights will no doubt be very affordable.
ReplyDeleteAnd we are still waiting for direct regular flight between BEG and AYT. Nuts
ReplyDeleteThere are. Just on a charter basis
DeleteWhat is that beautiful plane on the photo, and what is it doing in KVO?
