It could be outbound tourism for Mostar citizens vacationing in sunny Sicily. Or increase in investments between Italy and Mostar region fueling business travel. Or some diaspora links, or affordable Mostar city break for Italians. I don't know but any of those are great for Mostar.

      How do you know?

If it is outbound tourism it can't bring money back, but increase money drain.

It is about pilgrimage tourism to Medjugorje.

I believe @20.40 is right. Hercegovina has as much sun as Sicily, and Adriatic sea 1 hour by car. Diaspora is mostly in Germany and northern Europe, definitely not in Southern Italy, business travel, probably some, but not enough to fuel the service, so yes, I believe 80-90 % of passengers will be Međugorje pilgrims
