NEWS FLASH
Air Serbia took delivery of its second Embraer E195 aircraft (pictured) this evening. Arriving from Exter, the 118-seat jet is ten-year-old and features Air Serbia signage but will not be immediately painted in the carrier’s livery for quicker entry into service. Bearing its new registration YU-ATC, it had only previously flown for Aurigny and has been out of service since May 2024. "As part of our strategic vision, Air Serbia continuously modernises its fleet to provide passengers with a high level of service. Since the beginning of 2022, our fleet has been strengthened with eighteen new aircraft, marking a significant step towards improving operational efficiency and capacity. New and more modern aircraft allow us to expand operations and connect Belgrade even better with European destinations. With the arrival of the new Embraer, we will offer passengers an enhanced level of comfort and convenience during their journey", Air Serbia's CEO, Jiri Marek, said.
5 Embraer so far
ReplyDeleteYes, with sixth coming in June (fourth wet-leased E190).
DeleteThat’s very decent fleet. Allows more frequencies and exploring new routes with less risk. Hopefully to buy all 4 E190s from FB and paint them to JU livery
DeleteI agree. Air Serbia should get some of its own dry leased E190s.
DeleteIt would be better long-term to get a good deal and order 10+ E2 aircraft.
DeleteSo will there be air serbia logo on the tail or just the air serbia tiles on the side?
ReplyDeleteJust on the side
DeleteBravo Air Serbia 🇷🇸🇷🇸🇷🇸
ReplyDeleteBravo JU
DeleteThis aircraft size is ideal for Air Serbia, and transitioning from wet leases to dry leases would be a smart long-term move
ReplyDeleteit is said at aero portal that it have 118 seats
