Budget airline Air Cairo will launch regular charter flights between the holiday resort town of Hurghada and Ljubljana next summer season. According to the "Sierra5" portal, flights will operate once per week, each Saturday from May until the end of the summer season, in late October. Air Cairo, which is an Egypt Air subsidiary, will operate the route with a 177-seat Airbus A320 aircraft. Adria Airways suspended services to Hurghada (which operated via Sharm el Sheikh) late last year after a Russian airliner carrying 224 passengers crashed in Egypt's Sinai Peninsula on October 31, killing all on board.
Let's see if this materialises or if the charter chain will be cxd in the end with the uncertainty and attacks against tourists in Egypt.
