Air Serbia has committed itself to adding an additional 100 cabin crew members to its workforce in a campaign dubbed "New Smiles of Air Serbia". As previously announced, the airline will host open days in Novi Sad and Belgrade over the next two weeks. Air Serbia's CEO, Dane Kondić, said, "With the growth of the Air Serbia network and the recent announcement of New York flights, this is the right time for Air Serbia to welcome onboard more cabin crew. The role offers men and women an opportunity to see the world, attend state-of-the-art training courses in Abu Dhabi and develop a fantastic career in aviation, while still being close to home in Serbia". He added, “We are aiming to employ more than 100 additional cabin crew, which will make a significant contribution to the local job market, and expect a very strong turnout on our open days”. The airline received 2.100 applications at its most recent cabin crew open day event in Belgrade, held in September 2015.
So they do pay big money to Etihad to sent JU crew to Abu Dhabi for training.
ReplyDeleteAnd why JU need 100 new crew? 13% cuts this winter. It looks like those rumors that lot of crew and staff run out of company is true.
Maybe read the article why they need new crew. And yeah I'm glad they go to Abu Dhabi for training instead of hiring bottom of the list candidates like at OU who stage protests on board http://www.exyuaviation.com/p/union-slams-croatia-airlines.html
DeleteCroatia is not subject here. Why you have to involve this company in this discussion. I don't care about Croatia like I don't care of TAROM, Aeroflot or Turkish. I don't pay taxes in Croatia, Romania or Turky.
DeleteYes, you can writhe what ever you want in press material but fact is that crew and staff leave Air Serbia and they hire several times per year. This 100 for sure is not number that will support one A330 (40 is maximum for 5 crew teams on A330). Other 60 is 5 teams for 3 extra A319 or 6 extra ATR-72. Do you see 3 new A319 or 6 new ATR coming in 2016? But I see huge cutting in winter time table. Soooo... what should be conclusion?
DeleteMa bolest my food!
DeleteNešto tu ne može da bude pravo:
- smanjenje 13 odsto letova
relax people:)
