Brussels Airlines has dedicated one its Airbus A320 aircraft to Belgium’s most famous artists René Magritte, in a series of liveries inspired by famous Belgians. The livery incorporates elements from two of his most famous paintings. The A320’s interior has also undergone a surrealist makeover. The livery was designed by Brussels Airlines’ marketing team in conjunction with the Magritte Foundation, and it follows last year’s unveiling of an A320 depicting well-known Belgian comic book character Tintin. The aircraft will feature the colour scheme until 2022.
