Air Zimbabwe has rebranded to Zimbabwe Airways after concluding a long-term lease for four Boeing 777-200 aircraft from Malaysia Airlines. It marks the carrier's first rebranding in 37 years. The former Air Zimbabwe logo has been removed and replaced by a black tale featuring the Zimbabwe Bird and red star. It is accompanied by green, yellow, red and black rings near the tail, symbolysing the country's flag. The carrier says the new livery is in keeping with industry trends, noting that the new colour scheme has received favourable reviews from employees.

Totally useless name change.
ReplyDeleteFailure of an economy.. How can a nation in debt try to revive an airline that fails to meet FAA standards and to top it off, they purchase second hand banned triple 7s and call it a step forward. Icing on the cake for sure.
