Aermexico has introduced a special new livery for the launch of its first Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft. The jet will be named Quetzalcoatl (meaning "Feathered Serpent") after one of the principal deities of pre-Hispanic Mexico. The livery was created by graphic designer Joss Manuel Escudero following a 2014 public competition. The head of Quetzalcoatl has been placed on both sides at the front of the aircraft adorned with indigenous graphs alongside its white fuselage. The livery offers a unique fusion of tradition and modernity.
