lol - this will potenitally impact FZ or TK in SJJ and SKP more than QR in BEG/ZAG...

actually Qatar serves SKP via ZAG (operated by OU of course) but i doubt that there are many pax that use this connection.

Simple interline like they do for zillion other places, not code share type 'to be operated by OU'....
You can easily fly SKP DOH with TK, FZ and not even go via ZAG, no need to do so.

I don't know how this will impact ZAG because QR is probably starting this summer daily two flights between ZAG and DOH.

I don't think both BEG and ZAG QR routes had any relevant transfer volume to SKP or SJJ. Maybe some marginal. This eats into TK/FZ, not QR online ops.

All routes make lots of sense besides SKP and SJJ. I think those would be among the airports with the lowest number of pax QR will be flying to.

I think you underestimate them - it is not they will fly 3 daily. They have significant capacity increase to Australia and many Middle East destinations. It is very easy that SKP will actually have more pax than BEG due less competition.

I think this routes will have mixed results regardless if hey were 4 p/w or daily. As everybody knows SJJ needs massive capacity to and from Middle East from May to September and during this time no matter what they would have good results. At the same time, FZ is struggling in both destinations during November-March period.Regardless very interesting development, and I expect BEG to go daily very soon plus ZAG double daily as long as they have available aircraft. Last, QR does not care about profits too much, their aim is to expand for now.

What you wrote is very bad news for Air Serbia.
Qatar's ex-yu blitzkrieg will drive down profit margins.

Probably more of a challenge for FZ and partly TK - but primarily FZ that offers AU with EK with 1 stop. At least re SKP and SJJ.

Good to know that I'll not have to travel to SOF to fly QR anymore, welcome to SKP!
