Nobody want to go in Hungary from Prishtina but let us know for flights to other europian countries?
ReplyDeleteA bit of an odd choice to start with Budapest. Any route to German, Swiss, UK or Scandinavian airports would have flooded Wizzair with request for tickets, given that most of the Kosovan diaspora lives in these regions. I hope that Wizzair will not get dissapointed from this route and withdraw from Kosovo altogether in the future.
ReplyDeleteIts being subsidised by the Hungarian government. That's why they started with BUD.
DeleteI understand. But for the above routes they wouldn't have needed subsidies at all. Even with slightly higher prices they would have had success, since the current prices from Prishtina are completely nuts. Yes they wouldn't have started with 20 euros/base ticket, but even with 50 or 60 they would have had big profits.
