The Slovenian charter airline Aurora has started charter services from Maribor, Slovenia to Priština, the capital of the disputed breakaway Serbian province of Kosovo. The airline is operating an MD82 which is able to seat 169 passengers. During July and August it will operate 10 charter flights between the two cities. Maribor Airport said that travel agency Realta and Aurora Airlines are organising the charter flights which will be operated on July 8 and 22 as well as August 11, 25, 28. Because flights are operated at night time the return from Priština takes place the next day. Due to high interest a flight has been added for August 25 with an added flight expected in July as well. The flight lasts 45 minutes one way while a return ticket with taxes comes up to an expensive 303 Euros.
Adria Arways already operates scheduled flights from Slovenia’s capital Ljubljana to Priština.
