German fund boosts Adria stake

The new German owner of Adria Airways has acquired an additional 3.05% share in Slovenia's flag carrier to increase its stake to 99.14%. AA International Aviation Holding, an affiliate of the German turnaround fund 4K Invest, has acquired an additional 232.982 shares valued at fifteen euros apiece from eight small shareholders as part of the takeover bid. The German fund acquired 96.09% in the formerly state-owned airline through a recapitalise-and-sell procedure completed in March for 100.000 euros and an additional one million euro capital injection.
