Pristina Airport handled 141.179 passengers during June, an increase of 10.5% compared to the same month last year. Over the first half of the year, the airport welcomed 776.502 travellers, up 15% on 2015. The airport's General Manager, Haldun Kokturk, said, "Through our incentives program, we have managed to attract new airlines in a very short period of time, as well as strengthen frequnecies on existing destinations. With these new services, we are trying to give our passengers more opportunities to travel".
