Adria Airways will operate a number of charter flights on behalf of the Czech car manufacturer Škoda Auto, the "Sierra5" portal reports. The airline will carry attendees to a series of lectures and presentations taking place in Portugal and operate charters to Faro. Flights will run from Belgrade, Bratislava, Bucharest, Helsinki, Milan, Salzburg, Sofia and Zagreb. According to the portal, the charters will be operated primarily by Airbus A319 aircraft, although the Bombardier CRJ700 and CRJ900 will be used on occasion as well. The value of Adria's contract with Škoda has not been disclosed. In 2012, the Slovenian carrier operated a series of ad-hoc charters for British car maker Land Rover in a deal worth five million euros. Flights were run from major European cities to Marrakech and Essaouira in Morocco.
