NEWS FLASH
Northern Capital Gateway, the operator of St. Petersburg Pulkovo Airport, announced its best performing airlines of 2016. The winners in eleven categories were revealed at the annual "LED Together" ceremony held last Friday. The airlines awarded at LED Together showed the best performance results at Pulkovo Airport throughout the year. Air Serbia's Belgrade - St. Petersburg service was named "Best Developing New Destination". In 2016, the Serbian airline carried 12.000 passengers and performed 120 flights between the two cities. Air Serbia launched three weekly flights from Belgrade to St Petersburg on June 18. Although the service is maintained on a seasonal summer basis, a number of flights were run during December as well. Other winners included S7 Airlines for fastest growing carrier, airBaltic for best developing international carrier and Ellinair for best contribution to tourism development.
So they carried about 100 passengers per flight. Not bad.
ReplyDeleteProves that this route should go daily for ASL.
ReplyDeleteIf they worked a bit harder on promoting BEG as a connecting hub they could easily send it daily with the A319 or five weekly with the A320.
DeleteTrue dat.
DeleteIf they worked harder the A330 wouldn't be sitting 4 days out of 7.
DeleteYes well that A330'may just be the catalyst for JU which would be a very big shame. Must be costing JU huge cash every week to lay idle and no plan B in terms of other routes it could fly?
DeleteLepo je videti Nova Krila Evrope, Er Srbiju u carskom Petrogradu. Jos kada realno razvija svoju mrezu, zadovoljstvo je jos vece. Svakako ljudi koji zele dobro...
