NEWS FLASH
Low cost airline Volotea will introduce two new seasonal routes to the Croatian coast next summer. The carrier will commence services between Nantes, in western France, and Pula starting May 30, as well as flights between Palermo and Split from June 27. Both will operate once per week, each Wednesday, with a 125-seat Boeing 717 aircraft. Services will run until August 29. The Spanish low cost airline previously said it was negotiating new seasonal routes to Croatia for the 2018 summer season, with talks taking place with Zagreb, Rijeka and Pula airports, while Zadar had expressed interest to be included in the negotiations.
And as of april 2018 SAS is starting Aarhus - Split. Not sure how many times a week. Hopefully we will see some more flights from the Netherlands to Zadar/Split/Rijeka.
Boeing 717 - this is something! I would travel with them just for it!!! :)
ReplyDelete@ Admin: Nantes - Split on the right hand side under new rout lounces, this is an established route that has been operational for some years now. No new route.
ReplyDeleteIt should read Nantes - Pula.
DeleteTypo.
Bravo Hrvatska!
ReplyDeleteBravo Pula, bravo Istra!
ReplyDeleteThe 717s are absolutely wonderful! Volotea has a nice cabin, and the 2-3 seating is great!

ReplyDeleteWhat is the market for Palermo to Split? I don't think Sicilians would seek a sunny summer holiday on the sea on the Adriatic?
ReplyDeleteYes. They like to travel. I have a lot of good friends down there.
