Adria Tehnika inks Brussels Airlines contract

NEWS FLASH

Aircraft maintenance company Adria Tehnika has concluded an agreement to provide its services to Brussels Airlines' Airbus A320-family aircraft. The deal came into effect last week, with the first Brussels Airlines jet landing in Ljubljana last Monday. Adria Tehnika previously said it was seeking new long-term customers with its focus being on low cost airlines. Earlier this year, it expanded its contract with Iceland's WOW Air to include maintenance of wide-body aircraft. The company posted a gross operating profit of 2.7 million euros in 2017. It runs four hangars at Ljubljana Jože Pučnik Airport and is considering expanding to keep up with the increase in the number of customers.

No, Brussels airlines is not the owner of SSJ 100. They were wet leased from Cityjet. And the contract has been terminated, they will switched to CRJ from Air Nostrum.

the aircraft parts for Sukhoi 100 Superjet are too cheap, the Adria tehnika service activity is focused on Airbus aircraft service, the spare parts for Airbus are expensive and Adria service profit is rising.the russian made aircraft operated by Brussels airlines are sent for regular service in Russian federation.

    3. I don't really understand comment of Anonymous 16:46. What was the point? Brussels airlines doesn't own SSJ 100, so there is no maintenance involved.

    4. He is right - Brussels Airlines indeed has SSJs on wet lease contract from CityJet (Ireland), but it will end using them. http://www.rusaviainsider.com/brussels-airlines-not-renew-ssj100/
