So 3,35 million this year is quite good. Next year hopefully 3,5mio.
ReplyDeleteHope growth goes back to 10%
DeleteIt won’t as long as OU is the only airline based there.
DeleteOther airlines seem to be doing well though. Anyone know why cargo is going down for a few months now?
DeleteCargo is not tied to passenger demand and tends to fluctuate, specially at less than 10000t per month. Overall ZAG cargo increase is 21% this year.
DeleteYes but my question regarding cargo had nothing to do with passenger numbers. I am asking why there is a drop compared to the same period last year! Did some cargo airline fly less or something.

DeleteCroatia Airlines is not the only airline based in Zagreb. There is Trade Air as well. Speaking frankly, it does not contribute much to ZAG overall numbers but at least formally OU is not the only one. And Trade Air even has some scheduled flights from ZAG to OSI.
Next year the traffic should be way above 3,5 million. Hopefully 3,6 mill and possibly slightly more.
DeleteBravo Hrvatska!
ReplyDeleteSo Split will be the leader until end of November :)
ReplyDeleteNo it will not. In November Split will have some 40.000 passengers, and Zagreb some 250.000. So in November Zagreb will be first again.
Delete6 months this year with over 300,000 pax. Last year it was 4 and not long ago ZAG had only 5-6 months a year with over 200,000, no 300,000 at all. Next July and August could see 400,000 pax.
ReplyDeleteAnd there's still so much potential, with new laung haul routes being introduced and frequencies of existing ones being increased, but more importantly...the LCC traffic is almost completely untapped.
