Pristina Airport's air traffic controllers have ended their industrial action after signing a Memorandum of Understanding with the Ministry for Transport. Controllers were due to strike for a twelve-hour period between 08.00 and 20.00 on both Saturday and Sunday over low wages and a proposed new law on salaries. The union representing air traffic controllers at Pristina Airport will now work with the government to resolve outstanding issues. The industrial action affected a number of flights last week, however all planned walk-outs have now been called off.

ReplyDeleteAlso, it's disastrous that the loses will have to be paid by the government. So does it mean that the losses over the weekend will be paid by the government or if they have a loss at the end of the month?
I heard €2.500 but don't know if it's true.

ReplyDeleteFriend of mine use to work there for almost a year and his salary was 1900 euro plus benefits. It was long time ago, but I guess it is same or more now
