NEWS FLASH
Adria Airways will end its line maintenance agreement with Adria Airways Tehnika as of August 31 and will contract another provider from September. The Slovenian carrier has said it cannot reveal any details at this point, as it is a business secret, however, Slovenian media speculate that Adria's maintenance will be carried out by a Scandinavian company. The Ljubljana-based Adria Airways Tehnika, once an integral part of Adria Airways, is now independently owned and operated by Poland's Linetech Holding. It is a Bombardier Authorised Service Facility and provides maintenance services to several European carriers. It is believed the two companies could not reach an agreement over pricing.

DeleteAs in, no more maintenance for Adria Airways (at least that's how the news is being perceived by dimwitted Slovenes).
they owe them to much money...
ReplyDeleteTill now they did it for a delayed payment? How long was the delay?
DeleteSince Adria is in so much debt and close to bankruptcy I doubt anyone would service their aircraft in exchange for IOUs, just cash upfront. Which Adria does not have
ReplyDeleteZnaci kraj letne sezone je kraj za Adriu.
DeleteYes that means that probably Adria is very close to the end. I don't see how someone from Scandinavia will come to LJU and work for "free".
DeleteWho will do maintenance from September? Some cemetery company?
ReplyDeleteInfo shared on yesterdays late evening news on National TV was a conpany from Scandinavia.
