NEWS FLASH
Zadar Airport has continued to post impressive growth on the back of Ryanair's major summer expansion from the coastal city. The airport welcomed 145.364 passengers in July, representing an increase of 27.6% on the same month last year. During the January - July period, it handled a record 440.680 travellers, up 34.4%. Overall, it added an extra 112.870 passengers on 2018. According to Airports Council International, Zadar Airport saw the second highest growth rate among regional European airports during the first half of the year, behind only Ohrid. Apart from the eight new routes introduced by Ryanair to Zadar this summer, the airport has also seen easyJet double its capacity, while Laudamotion, Transavia, Condor, Air Serbia and Iberia launched new services to the Croatian city.
Impressive numbers, can Zadar get 800k pax this year?
ReplyDelete750 is more likely but 800k isn't impossible though!
DeleteCompare that to Maribor! It's all about hard work and dedication. Congratulatios.
DeleteBravo Hrvatska!
ReplyDeleteCroatia keeps impressing!!! AMAZING!!!
ReplyDeleteI’m expecting 780000, but hopefully next year over 800000. A number of gaps exist, flights to Paris, Amsterdam, Copenhagen, a Scottish airport and Helsinki would be good.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely Amsterdam is missing! Those flights would be packed, transavia or easyjet should start those flights!
