Emirates reduces planned Zagreb operations

NEWS FLASH

Emirates will reduce its planned seasonal operations between Dubai and Zagreb, once services are resumed on July 2. The carrier has updated its schedule which now displays four weekly flights on the route instead of daily operations. Services to Zagreb will be maintained with the carrier’s Boeing 777-300ER aircraft, which has the capacity to seat 354 passengers. Further changes remain possible.

Emirates did so to most of their routes, not just Zagreb.

Witin a week they downsized this route. I fear they might suspend it for summer 2020 and bring it back next year if the situation improves.

I don't think many understand how bad the situation is getting here and we are still not in the tourist season. So far revenue was halved compared to last year and the state will probably see a bigger drop in summer. Expect more cuts to come in the coming months as the government and businesses struggle.

Problem is the government, they don't have a clear strategy. One day they want one measure then the other another.

  5. There will be near to none international tourism this year. Even if boarders are opened, there will be that many restrictions (two week quarantine) that no one will bother.

I think biggest problem for us that is that most of our tourists come from the west. Greece has many from the Balkans so their season is always more or less safe.

      Yes they do!
