NEWS FLASH
Adria Airways’ official social media accounts on Facebook, Twitter and Linkedin have been put up for sale as part of the former flag carrier’s bankruptcy procedure. Interested buyers have until June 22 to submit their financial offer for the social media package, after which the bankruptcy administrator will decide on how to proceed with the sale. Adria’s official Facebook account has over 186.000 followers, its Twitter profile boasts over 3.800 followers, while over 6.470 connections follow the company on Linkedin. Adria Airways’ bankruptcy administrator is selling all of the company’s property in order to pay out 87.7 million euros in approved claims against the former carrier.
This is for real?
ReplyDeleteWhat's next, toilet paper?
ReplyDeleteOnly if it was branded with Adria logo :)
DeleteWhy someone will buy facebook page or linked in ...
ReplyDeleteadria facebook has ~190k accounts
Deleteyou buy it for 5,000€, rename the page into "slovenski onlajn butik" and sell fashionable items
In my opinion, all this should be transfered with the registered trademark. How can one entity own right for Adria Airways logo and branding rights, and someone else the branded website, Facebook and Linkedin? This is insane.
ReplyDeleteRgds, Eight.
You buy FB page just to take followers. And then rename pages or unite Adria followers with your own page. Before Corona FB site with 186.000 followers (which is a lot for Slovenia) was worth around 7.000-12.000€.
DeleteBut that's against FB's T&C and possibly even illegal.
DeleteI only want it if I can have the uniforms :)
ReplyDeleteThis is getting embarrassing. It feels as if they are kicking a corpse.
ReplyDeletein Slovenia bankruptcy procedure is big business.
ReplyDeleteThe person who is leading the procedure for Adria has around 20 employed staff payed from selling of the ex-companies property.
His interest is not to finish it but to extend it and use up as much of the money as he can.
exactly
DeleteThis is just ridiculous. Everyone should unfollow the page to highlight what a stupid move this is.
ReplyDeleteTbh, with 5k-10k investment you get direct access to ~180k potential users. Totally worth the investment for Air Serbia if they continue with two daily flights to Ljubljana. Or Croatia Airlines, but it's probably still too early for them.
ReplyDeleteHey Admins, how can one participate in the auction?
ReplyDeleteWhere are the bids supposed to be submitted?
Thanks.

DeleteThanks but there is no English versions of the auction offers.
DeleteSwitching to English site, shows different documents from the ones in Slovenian.
