NEWS FLASH
British Airways has again delayed the resumption of its seasonal flights between London Heathrow and Ljubljana. Services are now due to be restored on September 2 and run four times per week. As previously reported, the airline will go ahead with the launch of its new flights to Pristina on July 4, and resume operations to Zagreb and Split on July 9.
Why Zagreb yes and Ljubljana no?
ReplyDeleteI guess is connected to the different corona virus policy (entry conditions) of the two countries.
Maybe Zagreb and Croatia is more important to BA.
DeleteBritish Airways have no flights even to Macedonia ,Serbia,Montenegro let alone Slovenia .Croatia only makes sense to me in terms of direct flights in that part of the EU for British Airways, there is more than one million British tourists yearly in Croatia, thats more than entire region in terms of Brit visitors.
Delete"Let alone Slovenia"...... British Airways flew to Ljubljana last year. There are flights from 4 of London's airports to Ljubljana. Stop being a troll.
DeleteI suspect they won't resume in Sept as it was a seasonal service; hopes for its return next summer. Elsewhere, no news on BA to DBV? I tried booking today in August but seems they aren't taking bookings.....
ReplyDeleteBA has has suspended ticket sales for all short haul flights from Gatwick until September 9.
DeleteIt seems like they have moved the Dubrovnik service to Heathrow for August.....
