Turkish Airlines’ leisure brand AnadoluJet will commence seasonal summer flights between Istanbul’s Sabiha Gokcen Airport and Sarajevo. The carrier will operate three weekly flights between the two cities, each Thursday, Friday and Sunday, starting April 1, with its Boeing 737-800 aircraft. It will compete directly against Pegasus Airlines on the route, which plans to run up to nine weekly flights between the two cities over the summer. Sarajevo Airport recently announced there would be several announcements in the coming period in terms of new carriers and routes. ReplyDeleteAbout 300,000 passengers come from Istanbul to Sarajevo, I don't think AnadoulJet could harm Pegasus if it wasn't for the corona, but since it's the corons, then there can be problems

DeleteInformation are that THY is preparing to launch flights with Anadolu Jet to Skopje, Ohrid, Belgrade... to most of the cities in Balkan during summer season
DeleteThey can't launch Belgrade due to the bilateral.
DeleteDidn't KK cut SJJ about a year before they went bust. Local traffic might not be that big and TK carries a lot of transfers to the Gulf.
