Air Serbia will increase its operations between Belgrade and Paris with double daily flights to operate on select days. It comes after Air France delayed the route’s resumption by a month. Between April 30 and September 26, the Serbian carrier will be introducing two additional weekly rotations for a total of nine weekly flights. As a result, there will be two services per day between the two capital cities on Fridays and Saturdays. Air Serbia’s General Manager for Commercial and Strategy, Jiri Marek, said, “We are glad to have the opportunity to offer our passengers a higher number of flights to Paris, providing them with greater customer choices and making their journey more seamless. We have confirmed our position as the leading airline on the route between Belgrade and Paris’ biggest airport, thanks to which we enable excellent connectivity with the entire region as well”. Paris has been one of Air Serbia’s busiest routes since the airline restored operations to the French capital on May 31, 2020.
Who is traveling on this route since Serbs cannot enter France at the moment and French are not allowed to leave the country until further notice?

DeleteDoes that mean shops and restaurants work the whole time? So they just lock up their own people?
DeleteA study was conducted in Vienna and it showed that in the period 2010-2019 Serbia reversed its brain-drain as more people moved here than they left. This trend is also encouraging for future air travel as it means younger people are finding goods jobs here and they can afford to travel abroad.

DeleteBrain drain usually refers to highly young skilled workers who posses at least a university diploma in bachelor studies.
Population decline is partly because of low birth rate and because of unskilled workers who emigrate still in big numbers.
However at least one part of the demographic is improving which is great news.
