NEWS FLASH
Qatar Airways is today operating its service between Doha and Belgrade with a 283-seat Airbus A350-900 aircraft due to strong demand. It boasts 36 seats in business class and the remaining 247 in the economy cabin. Although the jet is being used as a one-off instead of the Airbus A320 aircraft, the carrier has seen an increase in demand on its Belgrade route over the past month, particularly on the outbound service from Doha. Today's flight from the Qatari capital is operating with an almost full load of passengers. It also marks the first scheduled arrival of the A350-900 to Belgrade. Previously, the airport handled a Thai Airways diversion and a Lufthansa charter.

Nice!
ReplyDeleteBy far the best airline I've flown yet in either Business or Economy. Would be fantastic to see them in BEG with widebodies more often.
ReplyDeleteA350 in Belgrade? Tickle me pink!
ReplyDeleteBelgrade is unstoppable! On top of this there are 76 departures today.
ReplyDeleteIts 3h late on departure
ReplyDeleteNo it isn't. The departure was scheduled 3 hours later than usual several days ago, as visible on BEG airport website and DOH airport website.
DeleteAnyone know where all this demand is coming from?
ReplyDeleteIf QR does well then maybe that's why EY is thinking of coming back.
ReplyDeleteEY has reduced fleet and routes. They are only considering Belgrade now that other destinations are not seeing demand.
DeleteRight because getting feed from JU has nothing to do with that.
DeleteThree widebodies today: JU, SU, QR.
ReplyDeleteSU A330-300 and QR A350-900 will be at the airport at the same time.
DeleteThey were side by side. Qatar on gate C3 and Aeroflot on gate C5.
DeleteAnd Dniproavia with E145 on C1. :D
DeleteBEG-DOH today 34 passengers in business class! 3 waiting on standby.
ReplyDeleteImpressive but I hope they will increase flights soon.
DeleteAre these mostly transfer passengers?
