NEWS FLASH
Maltese airline Malta MedAir will commence operations from the island to Pristina. The carrier will operate a one weekly service, each Saturday, from August 7. Flights will be operated by the Airbus A320 aircraft and will mark the first time Pristina has boasted scheduled nonstop flights to Malta. Tickets are on sale through the airline’s website. It is believed the aircraft will operate charters on behalf of local tour operators from Pristina to other mainland European destinations as well. Further flight details can be found here.
Doubt A320 needs over 4h from MLA to PRN?
ReplyDeleteThat's how it's scheduled.
DeleteMalta and Pristina are in the same time zone, so 4h flt time are not realistic
DeleteThey probably did it on purpose. Who knows, maybe they expect delays so by scheduling such a long rotation they avoid being liable for any delays. More and more airlines are scheduling ridiculous flight times just because of this.
DeleteI think it's because there will be a stop on the way. Maybe they will operate MLA-TIA-PRN.
DeleteThere isn't a stop. It says on their site when purchasing the ticket - nonstop flight.
