Adria Tehnika, a member of the Avia Prime Group, has signed a new five-year cooperation agreement with easyJet. The new five-year contract will cover several aspects of technical maintenance of easyJet aircraft at Ljubljana Airport, including airframe and component maintenance, line maintenance, on-request support, and numerous tasks that require aircraft mechanics skills and knowledge. Cooperation between Adria Tehnika and easyJet started back in 2016, when the Slovenian MRO [Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul] reconfigured easyJet’s cabins, with work carried out on over 100 aircraft. The two companies have now signed a five-year contract, which will bring about an expanded scope of work for Adria Tehnika, as the most demanding base maintenance work on the aircraft will also be carried out on three parallel maintenance lines at the same time. “When we started our collaboration with Adria Tehnika back in 2016, we were impressed by its depth of experience in servicing the A320 fleet. Now, after more than five years of working together, we are delighted that we will continue to partner with Adria Tehnika who has proved to be a reliable partner and we are happy that we will continue our growth together”, an easyJet representative said. Barbara Perko Brvar, the Deputy CEO of Adria Tehnika, said, “We are pleased and honoured that one of the leading airlines has once again chosen Adria Tehnika to perform maintenance on its aircraft. Despite the current situation in the aviation industry, we remain focused on providing high quality service and expanding cooperation with our customers. We believe that increasing demand from our customers reflects their trust in us, which gives us courage and greater confidence in planning our future group strategy”.
Well done. That deal must be worth quite a bit of money.

DeleteLju keeps on winning
ReplyDeleteThat's not lju win, it's adria tehnika ones. Yes lju makes some money from it but not as much as from pax service.
DeleteWhere did they do Maintenance before?
ReplyDeleteSR Technics?
Nice, at least something good in aviation for SLO. Btw, are there any news about Avia Prime's Serbian subsidiary (Jat Tehnika) and what happened with their certificates? Do they need their capacity at all, or whether we just have some game in Serbia in order to sell the space on the airport?
ReplyDeleteI don't get it how they don't have the cercificate as avia prime wouldn't buy them than or would think about it realy good. All I know is that YU has already maintained one of their a319 here in lju
DeleteThey lost the certificate after they were purchased by Avia Prime. Not before.
