Air Serbia responds to Wizz Air growth

NEWS FLASH

Air Serbia will be increasing its operations between Belgrade and Rome just days after Wizz Air announced it was launching flights between the two cities. The Serbian carrier will increase services to the Italian capital from its existing two weekly rotations to three weekly from December 20, while from June 7, 2022 flights will be maintained on a daily basis, which is the same as prior to the coronavirus pandemic. Wizz Air commences its three weekly operations between Belgrade and Rome on June 2, 2022.

Great news for consumers, low fares should lead to increased demand

I do agree with you but you can't compare the pax from air serbia or wizz. And I think it would be way better if YU gets more pax than wizz ;)

Austria is going once again into full lockdown. Hopefully JU can profit from that since OS will no doubt shrink.

  5. Please, add again before covid arranged flights from Belgrade - Florence or Pisa (Tuscany) . Doesnt mind if that would be by WizzAir or JU. Its HUGE potential:
    1. Italian diaspora
    2. Used as connection flight hub from east (Russia - Belgrade - Florence) with big and always expanding Russian people living/working/travelling in Tuscany.
Also from Turkey and other eastern developed countries.
    3. Not to mention extreme touristic potential during the spring/summer/autumn for Florence and Tuscany in general.

      I agree.
I don't know what they are waiting for.
It is a lost chance, planes for FLO were already almost fully booked jin February for June just before Covid started.
