Croatia Airlines to restore Barcelona service

NEWS FLASH

Croatia Airlines will resume scheduled operations to the Spanish market next summer for the first time since the onset of the coronavirus pandemic. The carrier will restore a three weekly service between Zagreb and Barcelona starting March 27 with its Airbus A319 aircraft. Services to the Catalan capital were discontinued by Croatia Airlines along with a handful of other routes in its Zagreb network. Barcelona marks the first of those to be reinstated. The Croatian carrier will compete directly against budget airline Vueling on the route.

    1. Ryanair does not fly to BCN from ZAG (yet). But it will definitely start either Girona or Reus, and probably make them withdrew from the service which represents spectacular move, result of BCG consulting. But if they started MAD or VLC, FR wouldn't go for it as those are single airports cities, meaning no incentives. But obviously they are eager to finally compete on open market, something they wished for long time LOL
