Macedonia seeks new Spain flights

TAV Macedonia, which manages the country’s two international airports, has held talks with local and Spanish tour operators as well as the Macedonian Embassy in Spain with the aim of enhancing cooperation, people to people exchange and improving air connectivity between the two countries. TAV Macedonia’s Revenue and Marketing Manager, Vladimir Gramatikov, noted, “We will all work on increasing tourism between the countries, with a special focus on establishing new air connections between Macedonia and Spain as a key factor for development”. There are currently no scheduled flights between the two states with Wizz Air recently discontinuing operations between Skopje and Barcelona.

    This is a great opportunity for JU to improve its performance in SKP. This summer they will offer MAD, BCN, VLC and PMI via BEG.
