NEWS FLASH
Pristina Airport has continued to post strong growth, with its figures for March outperforming those prior to the pandemic. It welcomed 195.241 passengers during the month, representing an increase of 15.2% on its previous best three years ago. Pristina Airport is so far recording its busiest year on record, welcoming 555.895 travellers through its doors during the first quarter, thus solidifying its position as the former Yugoslavia’s second busiest airport. Its Q1 figures represent a 16.6% increase on the same period in the pre-pandemic 2019.
i remember the good old days where pristina and skopje where neck on neck in passangers now look how things have changed.
ReplyDeleteFantastic result
ReplyDeletegreat results ! wonder where the airport will be at end of year !
ReplyDeleteI tried to comment several times, but reasons unknown to me, my comments are not published. In any case, Azdren, I wanted to say that if the current growth rate is maintained throughout the year, then PRN could reach 2.75 million passengers this year.
Delete2.5 million would be an excellent result, while 3 million would be a spectacular result. I am expecting somewhere between these two figures depending on how European civil aviation recovers this year.
2nd place among Ex Yu Airports is a respectable achievement.
ReplyDeletePRN approaching 3mln mark by looks of it.
The growth rate would need to accelerate (in comparison to 2019 figures) to achieve the 3 million mark. I would not set expectations that high. It will come down to whether July and August 2022 are as spectacular as in 2021.
DeleteAdmin, there is miscalculation on your post.
ReplyDeletePRN figures for 2022 Q1 are 545,895 pax.
