Air Serbia took delivery of its tenth Airbus A319 aircraft yesterday (pictured). As reported a month ago, the jet has been registered YU-APN and will enter into commercial service once it is fitted with 144 Recaro 3520DE seats in Belgrade. The jet is thirteen years old and formerly operated for Bangkok Airways and Brazil's ITA Transportes Aeros. It has been in storage for just over two years. The aircraft is equipped with two IAE V2524-A5 engines. The latest addition becomes the tenth A319 in Air Serbia’s fleet, which also includes one A330-200 and A320 each, as well as two ATR72-600s, one ATR72-500, and three ATR72-200 turboprops.

Few hours for seats? More like 8-12 hours. Especially if LOPA is different than previous carrier. Quick test is required at the end of installation, test for every single seat. Ofc JAT mechanics like to just stamp job as done. No wonder they lost EASA certificate.
