NEWS FLASH
Pristina Airport registered its busiest May on record by handling 257.770 passengers. The figure represents an increase of 41.7% on the pre-pandemic 2019 and 61.9% on last year. During the January - May period, the airport welcomed 1.065.119 travellers through its doors, up 25.1% on 2019. Kosovo is currently one of Europe’s top performing air travel markets and one of only three to have surpassed its pre-pandemic passenger performance.
Congrats Pristina! 🍻
ReplyDeleteLess passengers than in April?
ReplyDeleteApril was Easter. Usual in PRN because during Easter whole diaspora comes.
DeleteStill, I am surprised, especially because May had one extra day plus May day holidays
DeleteAs always.
DeleteAmazing figures. Keep it up PRN!
ReplyDeleteIf Pristina has growth this years 50%+, base what we are seeing they are in right track. Than PRN will have this year over 3 millions passengers. Impressive...
ReplyDeleteIn first 5 months it is still nr. 2 in ex-Yu.
DeleteConsidering that this is a non-transfer airport.. these figures are amazing.
ReplyDeleteOn the other hand, it really highlights how many people have left the country...

DeleteI wonder what happens when Visas get lifted…

DeleteIndeed true, in 99'. As over 1 million took refuge to MK and AL.
DeleteI'll be impressed when I see flights to BEG.
ReplyDeleteWasn't there a Eurowings flight at one point?
DeleteNot sure if they ever started but they were in planing.
