Turkish Airlines deploys wide-body jet to Sarajevo

Turkish Airlines has again deployed its Airbus A330-200 wide-body aircraft to Sarajevo, with the airline utilising the jet on this mornings flight. The is using the A330-200 with the highest capacity in its fleet, featuring 280 seats, of which 22 are business and the remaining 259 in economy. Sarajevo Airport is registering its busiest year on record, with the trend set to continue this month as well. During the first half of July, the airport welcomed 86.113 travellers through its doors, up 21% on the pre-pandemic 2019.

    They also planned to send an A330 yesterday but they made a last minute change and sent an A321 instead.

    Those Sarajevo figures are fantastic given its size and traffic figures. Those numbers are probably expected to increase following the terminal capacity increase.
