NEWS FLASH
Banja Luka Airport has already achieved its busiest year on record by handling 171.214 passengers between January and July. Last month alone, it welcomed 44.637 travellers. If it were not to process a single passenger until the end of the year, the airport would still achieve its best results to date. Overall, Banja Luka’s growth during the first seven months stood at 881% when compared to the same period last year. This coming winter season, Ryanair will launch flights from Berlin to Bosnia and Herzegovina’s second largest city, while Air Cairo, which introduced scheduled services from Hurghada this summer, will continue to maintain operations during the winter.
Very well done BNX!
ReplyDeleteWe need 2 daily flight to BEG
ReplyDeleteDuring previous 6 years I did quite a lot of travel between Belgrade and Banja Luka, so I agree that 2 daily flights should be the best solution. One needs at least 4 hours by car (highway all along through Croatia) hoping not to end up jammed at one of the border crossings. And potential travelers would certainly switch to plane!
DeleteBNX BEG two daily flights, in the Morning and in the evening
DeleteAnd with Croatia entering Schengen next January, the borders could become more time-consuming. So it's high time for JU to look more into BNX.
DeleteThesaloniki and Corfu
ReplyDeleteBerlin Zagreb South cool!
ReplyDeleteWhy people here insist on Zagreb South?!
DeleteFirst, Banja Luka and that part of Republica Srpska and Bosnia and interesting enough to generate these figures.
Second, Zagreb cannot generate enough for his own airport, so another one is absolutely not needed.
Bravo, Banja Luko!
BNX is around 165 km far from ZAG.
DeleteI believe flight BNX- SAW would work nicely with Pegasus. Surprisingly there’s no charter flights this summer for Greece from Banja Luka? That would work great if Ryanair introduced it
ReplyDeleteFR do not fly charters
DeleteIt’s horrible to fly from this airport. Capacity exceeded by far. They should immediately extend the building.
ReplyDeleteThat's right. BNX need bigger terminal building with restaurants and shops. Also gates are small
DeleteWhat us its capacity right now?
DeleteSmall correction in text. Ryanair will relaunch flights to Berlin. Ryanair had a flights BNX Berlin before Corona.
ReplyDeleteAny news on routes from Banjaluka to The Netherlands?
ReplyDeleteWould it be rational SJJ-BNX-BEG?
ReplyDeleteThat would be ok. BNX and SJJ need to have connection
DeleteThat is right. So many times we had tourists who want to travel between these cities. I guess there is some monopoliy with transportation and političar issue.
DeleteThe airport is very small, a larger terminal, more shops and a more adequate restaurant would be very desirable. When will the ZRH-BNX connection finally come?
ReplyDeleteEdelweiss or Swiss
DeleteAir Serbia should Base at least one ATR at BNX and fly to Munich, Zürich, Belgrade, Ljubljana, Tivat, Niš and Budapest
ReplyDeleteWell done BNX!
ReplyDeleteKeep forward...
