NEWS FLASH
Air Serbia is set to take delivery of its latest Airbus A320 aircraft, which is the first in the fleet to feature sharklets. The aircraft has received the carrier’s livery, including the company’s logo on the sharklets, and is expected to enter into commercial service next week. The jet, which is almost eight years old and previously operated by India’s Vistara, will bear the Serbian registration YU-APO.

DeleteJU abandoned the living legends theme for the narrowbodies back in 2014, when they last named an aircraft. Not all of them had names assigned to them.
Actually last aircraft was named in March 2017 - https://www.exyuaviation.com/2017/03/air-serbia-to-name-sixth-jet.html

DeleteWho cares about the passengers? It saves a huge amount of fuel, that's what matters for Air Serbia. It's quite strange that no sharklet aircraft was operated by them until 2022.

ReplyDeleteThose sharklets are wrong painted, it should be the same as the A330 winglets, the red part of the logo is missing
DeleteI can already see in the system that YU-APO will be deployed to Barcelona, Zurich, Moscow on a random dates. Probably even more destinations will be considered.

DeleteIf JU could figure out how to coordinate their code-shares with AC maybe they would get more passengers. Third time this year I got to the check-in counter and was told I have to pay for my checked bags to YYZ, even though my boarding confirmation says 2 free checked bags allowed. As a loyal Ex-Yu enthusiast it's really hard now not to click on the LH alternative flight.
ReplyDeleteI fly neo and ceo as well on daily basis. Fuel difference is noticable only if pass on neo. Very apparent difference.
