Pristina Airport has put into operation its upgraded Instrument Landing System, increasing its category from II to category IIIb. The new system aids with an automated precision approach and landing when the runway visibility is at a distance of no less than fifteen metres and is at a visual range less than 200 meters. The system is expected to improve Pristina Airport’s performance during the winter when it suffers from fog and low visibility which has disrupted its operations in the past on numerous occasions. Late last year, Pristina Airport completed work on the extension of its runway from 2.560 metres to 3.050 metres.
This is how it must be done everywhere. Operational stability brings more traffic.

Kosovo definetly needs an airline!
ReplyDeleteLufthansa and British Airways mayby take care of that needs. 🛫
DeleteThey hab’s an airline, GP Aviation!!!
DeleteYou cannot call that an national airline. They operate charters. It’s established by maffia tour-agencies and it’s a Bulgarian airline
Delete@13:13 what means “ maffia tour-agency”? Do they kill people or what?
ReplyDeleteThey kill their wallet. Overpriced tickets when you can fly with proper airlines for less. The problem is that people don’t know that and still book through them!
DeleteBesides, some people have no other choice.
Delete@07:54 so, basically, if you sell expensive then you are “maffia”. Ok, I understand now what is “maffia” for you.
DeleteWhy can’t pristina and Skopje have at least 2 runways
