Ljubljana Airport closes in on pre-Covid figures

NEWS FLASH

Ljubljana Airport handled 93.020 passengers this October, representing a decrease of just 6.3% on the pre-pandemic 2019. However, it should be noted that Adria Airways declared bankruptcy in late September of that year, skewing the numbers. If compared to October 2018, figures are still down 42.4%. During the January - October period, Ljubljana Airport welcomed 842.791 travellers, down 45.6% on 2019. Ljubljana Airport recently revised up its passenger estimate for this year and is now expected to process close to one million customers this year.

There are quite a few charters planned so it's not impossible, but it will be close. Realistically it will probably be just under 1 mio, which is still better than expected.
