NEWS FLASH
Norwegian Air Shuttle will enter the Macedonian market next summer with the launch of a new seasonal route between Oslo’s main airport of Gardermoen and Skopje. The service will run twice per week, each Monday and Friday, from June 23 until August 18. The airline will compete indirectly against Wizz Air’s operation between Skopje and Sandefjord. Further details for Norwegian’s new Skopje service can be found here.
Finally!
ReplyDeleteUh nice! Ohrid would have been a nice addition as well. So fingers crossed.
ReplyDeletewe also need ARN flights ;)
ReplyDeleteWooooww! Ohrid is on fire! It looks like that the boom is about to happen. What is interesting is that OHD will be connected to more main airports than SKP - AMS, LGW, OSL..
ReplyDeleteThese flights are to Skopje, not Ohrid.
DeleteWhat Ohrid?
DeleteNorwegian is doing a good job slowly pushing out Wizz from Norway.
ReplyDeletebut its crazy top stop it in the middle of the busiest month
ReplyDeleteThis is how they started PRN initially and slowly enlarged their operations there. OSL is now year-round and ARN and GOT seasonally.
DeleteActually, Norwegian's second largest market out of PRN is HEL.
DeleteFor summer 2023 Norwegian is expanding significantly at PRN by turning it high seasonal routes to HEL, CPH, and ARN into all seasonal routes covering the 6 month period, instead of 6-7 weeks in July and August only.
Great airline and great addition for SKP.
They should also come to INI
ReplyDeleteWe will tell them once they land in SKP :), j/k
DeleteI wonder what kind of incentives they received? And I agree with the above comment that they should come to Nis.
ReplyDeleteAny chance for Bitola - Oslo ? Oh wait....
ReplyDeleteHahaha
