NEWS FLASH
Croatia’s ETF Airways has signed a contract to wet-lease one of its Boeing 737-800 aircraft to Italian carrier Neos over the summer. The jet will be based at Bergamo Airport, operating specific routes on behalf of the Italian airline. Commenting on the deal, Neos’ CEO, Carlo Stradiotti, said, “We are very pleased with this important collaboration with ETF Airways, which represents a further growth opportunity for our business, and which will allow us to guarantee our customers the operational stability that distinguishes us, even during periods of high demand, while offering quality and high-level services”. Neos boasts its own fleet of four B737-800s, four B737 MAX 8s and six B787s. A wet-lease involves the lessor providing its aircraft, crew, maintenance and insurance for the aircraft to the leasee for a set period of time.
Bravo Hrvatska!
ReplyDeleteACMI is becoming a norm in the EU. ETF is quite a smart airline and make use of the slightest opportunity in this highly competitive market. With the recent demise of flybe and eventually struggling Nowegian Flyr, things are not looking optimistic for 2023.

DeleteMaybe they made simply the lowest offer... 😕
ReplyDeleteNEOS does not work with lowest offers.
DeleteETF Airways is on sale due to lack of capital. From hero to zero in less than 1 year. Well done, guys.
ReplyDeleteAnd where is your airline?
DeleteAny links to back it up?
DeleteETF Airways keeps receiving unsolicited offers to sale shares 5x the initial investment value. If I were an investor, I wouldn't mind getting 5m after investing 1m in the middle of multiple financial crises.
Delete@Anonymous 06:13 I think Pragusa is the one you are talking about. FlyAir41 and ETF are two successful companies established in 2020/2021, so they are here longer than 1 year what you mentioned.
