Bravo! This makes so much sense
ReplyDeleteYesss 1weekly service give us nothing !!
ReplyDeleteThey should go 3 weekly to DBV and 4x daily to SPU with dash. But at least they can say their network is growing lol
ReplyDeleteLet's wait and see how these perform. This year is not off to a good start for HR coastal airports. DBV had less than 15.000 passengers!
DeleteThe transition to eur is hurting them. My summer destination got 45% more expensive. For 4400e that I'm paying i could be in dubai in a 5star hotel with flights included
DeleteI agree. Croatia has become so overpriced for what they have to offer. Even NYC is more reasonable when it comes to hotel prices. Not to mention how expensive it has become to fly to anywhere in Europe from the US and Canada. Lufthansa is charging premium for its flights. It's just ridiculous that they charge over 500 EUR for a one way flight from Spain to anywhere in CRO or SLO.
DeleteI agree it's getting far too expensive for a vacation in Croatia. Joining the Euro currency will hurt the tourist sector very much this year. Bravo to OU though for this new route!
DeleteOverpriced for what they have to offer?? Seriously?!
DeleteAbsolutely, year on year tourists the prices are insane.
DeleteJoining the euro has nothing to do with it and if anything it'll help the tourist sector as the tourists won't need to change money. The had been going up way before we introduced the euro. Everything is still booked, so much so in fact that it's become a huge problem to find seasonal workers on the coast, despite of the wages being well over a thousand euros just for washing dishes, or cleaning rooms. Bar tenders and kitchen helping staff earn well over €1500 and cooks over €2000. On the islands those wages are often double that.
DeleteCurrency has nothing to do with high prices.
DeleteCroatia is a super popular destination (top 10 in the world) and this is driving the pricee high.
Prices for hotel rooms / apartments were always calculatee and often charged in euros.
At least it’s on the A319
ReplyDeleteBravo Hrvatska!
ReplyDeleteWhat is bravo here? 4 routes with the total of 5 weekly flights? That deserves bravo?
DeleteAnon 17:01, imagine it was the other way around, 5 routes with 4 weekly flights 😂😜😃
DeleteSo well thought out!! A one weekly flight out of a city already covered with more frequencies to the exact same destination by a different airline, and at the same time leaving the countires capital without a connection to the Czech capital!! Same thing with Berlin for example.
ReplyDeleteZagreb Airport management have brought this on themselves by trying to rip off OU and other carriers with high fees whilst subsidising FR.
DeleteZagreb Airport was always CTN hostage; their best CEO being sacked by Misetic actions and replaced by “good guy” who immediately cancelled debts. CTN was always copying Czech Airlines for the flights and decided to cancel them the moment CSA went bankrupt. And the planes of both companies were all year full… standard logic of “national carrier”
DeletesO(U) sad!
ReplyDeletePRG makes a lot of sense. But is there really any demand on the SPU-SKP or it is paid by their government?
ReplyDeleteGroundbreaking!
ReplyDeleteDa nije tužno bilo bi smešno.
ReplyDeletePozdrav, where are you? I hope you are well, this “announcement” has been up for several days already, Bravo Hrvatska guys are here, but not you….
ReplyDeletePlease bring back LGW/LHR - DBV Service OU…
