NEWS FLASH
Turkish Airlines has scheduled its 289-seat Airbus A330-300 aircraft on its Sunday morning flights between Istanbul and Zagreb starting August 8 until the end of the summer season, with the last service scheduled with the wide-body jet on Sunday October 22, "Croatia Aviation" reports. The increased capacity will help deal with increased demand on the route. As a result, a total of eleven Turkish Airlines flights will be operated by the wide-body aircraft, which has 28 seats in business class and the remaining 261 in economy. Turkish Airlines is one of Zagreb Airport’s busiest carriers. During the first quarter it welcomed 41.733 passengers on the route, representing an increase of 33.4% on the same period during the pre-pandemic 2019.

Nice!
ReplyDelete@Anon15:28 Are OU and TK even competing on the SE Asia Market?
DeleteIt is good sign that SE Asian market is recovering.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to Zagreb and Croatia!
Croatia Airlines' reaction to this will be devastating for Turkish. Turkish will be annihilated and will withdraw from this market.

DeleteBravo Hrvatska!
ReplyDeleteSad.
DeleteSad and stupid combined.
DeleteHow many wide-body planes to Zagreb and Belgrade?
ReplyDeleteUntil TK starts on Aug 8, ZAG has 3 weekly TS from YYZ
DeleteBEG has 2 weekly HU from PEK and JU: daily to JFK, 3 weekly to ORD, once weekly to TSN
How low the mighty have fallen. I am old enough to remember when ZAG was full of widebody planes (KE, EK, TS...) and BEG could only dream of that with their 4 weekly flight to JFK. How the tables have turned now.
DeleteI am even older and I flew from BEG to SYD, MEL, JFK, SIN, LAX, YYZ etc
DeletePlease give me a break!!!!! We flyed from US to Prishtina monday this week. On the flight from IST to PRN pilot missed to land the plane two times and made it on the 3rd attempt. Everybody on the plane got scared and askes cabin staff what is happening….they just stod there and smiled *this happens* weather was perfect but nobody understood why. I think i would chose something else out of ZAG.
ReplyDeleteA lotbof Aussies using TK to fly to Cro. Last few years it was always Qatar, now you just seem to hear Turkish.
