Jat Tehnika in cooperation with Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI) has completed the first ever Boeing 767 passenger to freighter conversion in Europe. The B767-300, initially registered C-FMXC, it was delivered brand new as a passenger jet to Air Canada in 1996 and was later passed on to Air Canada Rouge. The jet is currently undergoing test flights after which it will be delivered to Challenge Air Cargo under the registration 9H-CAC. Flew on it, it was 767-333ER
ReplyDeleteYou flew on this exact aeroplane?
DeleteWhen it was a passenger plane
DeleteWhen? And how could you know that?
DeleteSome nerds look at tail numbers and registrations, pilots keep logs, new kids have tools like fr24 at their disposal.
DeleteNow that cargo is slightly declining, I would expect that the need for this type of conversion might also decline. Will then JT go back to maintaining airplanes, as was expected from them?
