Korean Air to run Zagreb charters

NEWS FLASH

Korean Air plans to operate a handful of charter flights between Seoul and Zagreb this October on behalf of a local Korean tour operator. According to the “Croatian Aviation” portal a total of four flights are planned, on September 22, September 29, October 6 and October 13. A 218-seat Airbus A330-200 aircraft will be deployed for the charters. Last year, the same charter flights were planned, however, they were ultimately cancelled due to insufficient demand. Korean Air maintained schedule seasonal operations between Seoul and Zagreb until the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic in 2020.

the charters are only for the koreans
218 seats would indicate high premium configuration for the flight. so even if they would take others from croatia to korea, they will be very expensive.

What a tragedy that Zagreb had regular flights with Korean Air until the pandemic and now nothing. A huge loss.

Korean will be back on regular flights, I presume not before 2025. Covid in China is still massive problem for Asian markets recovery.

Great new for the charter flights. if successful and there is demand shown then Korean Air should re-start the regular direct flights.
    hope it works.
