Zagreb Airport targets 3.7 million passengers in 2023

Zagreb Airport’s General Manager, Huseyin Bahadir Bedir, has said the airport anticipates welcoming a total of 3.7 million passengers this year, which would make it its busiest on record. “Passenger numbers are growing from month to month. By the end of the year, we expect to handle some 3.7 million travellers, which will be more than in 2019. Zagreb Airport will continue to work on expanding its flight network and offering a seamless travel experience to its guests”, Mr Bahadir Bedir said. During the January - August period, Zagreb Airport welcomed 2.446.623 travellers through its doors, an increase of 7.5% on the pre-pandemic 2019 and up 23.8% on last year.

    I am in Malta and saw article of 51 route that Ryanair will have from the here. Little island, small population, small diaspora and indeed very touristic destination, having local carrier and many others flying here yet they are able to have 51 route this winter and 6 stationed planes.
